Dev Ops Full Stack Developer
Job Profile
Spry Digital is seeking a Hybrid DevOps/Full Stack Developer to join its team. This role will primarily be part of a client-facing Buy Flow team, where a combination of React, Node, and AWS are used to help customers meet their telecommunication needs. The role, at least initially, will focus on DevOps and helping define and document processes.

In this role, you will be the team's DevOps expert and will focus on DevOps and backend-leaning tasks depending on business needs. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and enhance our AWS server infrastructure.
- Ensure optimal performance, prioritize security measures, and help scale infrastructure.
- Engage in day-to-day development projects with a core emphasis on fine-tuning Linux systems, crafting resilient GitLab pipelines, and contributing to the ongoing refinement of our technological ecosystem.
- Participate in on-call and release rotation. Includes occasional Sunday night releases (roughly 5 times per year).
- Develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript, focusing on Node.js.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our digital platforms, ensuring alignment with branding and customer engagement goals.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and scalability.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years experience with DevOps engineering, with a focus on AWS server management.
- Experience setting up and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Node.js and Express.js.
- Proficiency in Linux system administration and server upgrade processes.
- Deep understanding of security best practices and compliance standards.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Comfortable using G-Suite applications, including Docs, Sheets, and Gmail.
- Adept at learning required tools, e.g. Gitlab, ClickUp, Slack, and Google Workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS DevOps Engineer and/or Solutions Architect certifications
- Experience with React or similar modern, front-end frameworks.
- Familiarity with Drupal CMS

Salary Compensation
Salary will commensurate with experience and will range from $95,000-125,000 annually.
